BL anime film label Blue Lynx hasn't even released their first film yet, and they are already announcing what their third project will be: an anime film adaptation of Kii Kanna's Umibe no Étranger (Stranger on the Shore). I read the manga and liked it a lot. The film will be released in the summer of 2020.

Been into a wuxia-cross-fantasy web series called The Untamed (陳情令). It's quite fun to watch even without the shipping goggles on (not that I need them anyway). One of the main plotlines is basically about how a mischievous but compassionate trouble-maker captures the heart of the strait-laced honour student and vice versa. Ah, Given is pretty damn great if you like slow-burn romance (well, I do anyway), and the song that the band performed live in episode 9 is really good. I'm going to take a look at the manga once the anime adaptation finishes its run.

Mizushiro Setona's BL manga Kyuuso wa Cheese no Yume o Miru (The Cornered Mouse Dreams of Cheese) and its sequel Sōjo no Koi wa Nido Haneru (The Carp on the Chopping Block Jumps Twice) have been licensed by Seven Seas. The story revolves around the dinner table of a middle-aged gay couple, where, after a long day at work, they enjoy homemade cooking, conversation and each other's company. Watched Kuroko no Basuke OVA 4 (i.e., ep. 75.5) and the Last Game film. They tie up the anime series quite nicely, complete with ribbon and all. Both the OVA and the film are essentially fanservice for fans who want to see the Generation of Miracle being friends and teaming up to play basketball again.
